Lightning Network Liquidity is seeking to open mutual (50/50 balanced) channels with other lightning node operators that can fulfill the following criteria:
- The peer node has a clear-net IP address and is not attempting to obscure their IP using a VPN.
- The peer node is willing to commit at least 5 million sats to the payment channel.
- The peer has, or will soon have, at least 1 BTC worth of total channel capacity.
- The peer node is willing to share contact details in the form of an email address and/or phone number with LNL.
These contact details will be stored by LNL in an encrypted file that will be saved to Google’s cloud storage service, Google Drive.
LNL will use these contact details to communicate with its node(s) peers for reasons such as:- The peer node has gone offline for an extended period (greater than 24 hours).
- To inform LNL’s peers that one or more of LNL’s node(s) will be experiencing planned downtime, typically for maintenance.
- To inform LNL’s peers that one or more of LNL’s node(s) are experiencing unplanned downtime.
- To propose any changes to the channel arrangement including increasing or decreasing a channels capacity.
- Other channel related issues or changes.
Lightning Network Liquidity reserves the right to close any payment channel with its peers without prior consent.
Lightning Network Liquidity will en-devour to always communicate with its peers prior to closing or refinancing any payment channels.
